PRE-INSTALLATION
Before installing your extensions co-wash them using Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner (green bottle). This will allow the opportunity to evaluate the bundles.

DAILY CARE

Brush or comb through to style.

Apply Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz serum for shine and frizz control as needed. Excessive product may lead to stiff hair which may cause matting and tangling. When product has build-up, CoWash your hair!

When styling extensions use heat protectant to avoid damage. Keep in mind, excessive heat styling can alter the original wave pattern and integrity of the hair (similar to your natural hair).

WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
Condition your hair 1 times per week. This is to ensure your hair is retaining moisture and periodically cleansing any build-up that could cause matting or tangling.

BEDTIME CARE
Before bed, comb through your hair using a wide tooth comb to avoid tangles. Place hair in a high ponytail or bun then apply satin scarf or bonnet to reduce frizz and fly-aways. When waking up, remove overnight protection and comb through hair using a wide tooth comb again, treating the extensions as your own hair.
CURLY HAIR
Of course curly texture require a more extensive haircare treatment simply due to the structure of curly hair strands. If you plan to wear the hair wavy or curly you need to apply a curl defining/curl control cream while the hair is wet. This way it will stop the hair from frizzing and lock in the wave or curl in the hair. Before bed gently comb through hair from bottom to top to remove all tangles. Braid your hair into a couple of big braids, then when waking up remove the braid and wet hair adding the curl defining cream.
Keep in mind when curly hair is lacking moisture, the more it will expand or swell with humidity. Curly hair is more porous than straight textures therefore it tends to pull moisture from the air causing the hair to swell. Once the hair swells and the cuticles become rough the hair may lose its curl pattern and become less visually appealing. Therefore, it is important to follow a routine care with curly hair to help keep it intact.
